After their debut singles "Where is Love" and "Tomorrow" for the Viennese Sixty Six Records, About The Future moved on with its quest to bring out new ideas on the question of Love, developing further its original musical contribution to the NU Soul musical genre. Thus the completion of their new EP which includes the first two singles and two new songs titled "Open Spaces" and "Why" on the same label.

The need to conceive and understand Love as something still to be discovered, its transforming power that can help us see ourselves, our relationships and the world around as a part of a greater course of life, with greater openness, and new ways of living and relating among us, is the theme of the soulful "Open Spaces". It is at the same time a very intimate personal experience of a soul going through that transformation together with others, envisioning many new possibilities, i.e. open spaces, almost an ecstatic feeling of greatness for the present and the future.

"Why" a punkish soul track of little more than 2min. Love is not only sweet and gentle. It can raise its voice loud, speak the truth and warn us again and again, screaming "why, oh why", how bowing down to the ever ancient idols of greed for money, power, twists and disfigures our natural, pure and bright selves and the society as a whole. The greed is the "assassin" and love is "the greatest child". Only we, by changing our heart's desires can set free the child in us and others. The final of the song is like a loving prayer that this change may come about.
